Lily's first visit with Nana

Lily had her first visit with Nana (my mom) this week. Sadly, Nana has to go back to Florida tomorrow :(

This first picture is of Lily in an outfit from her cousins Mike, Rachel, and Mikey V.

This picture is of Lily after we got back from the audiologist's office to have her hearing rechecked (she can hear perfectly now-no worries!). She's wearing PJs from her auntie Ginger and furry boots from her auntie Michelle.




These are the awesome boots Lily got from Aunt Jessi for Christmas!

Welcome Lilyana Jean Tegtmeyer, our Super Bowl Super Baby!
(I think she was the Steelers' good luck charm tonight.)

A few weeks ago when the Steelers won the game to go to the Super Bowl, Chris turned to me and said, "You're going to have the baby on Super Bowl Sunday- I just know it."
He was right! Labor started early on Super Bowl Sunday (2/1/09) at 2am, we checked into the hospital at 6:30am, and Lily was born at 10:38am.

Lily weighs 6 lbs 8 oz, she's 20.5 inches long, and is a healthy and happy baby.

Lily spent her first evening with mom and dad watching the Super Bowl. She and Daddy had matching outfits :)

We may look tired, but we're oh-so-happy :)

We can't wait to go home where Lily will meet the kitties who are anxiously awaiting her arrival and keeping her new glider/rocking chair warm for us.
